Sound Engineer
BROADCAST
I have worked on large scale live music broadcasts and radio shows for BBC national radio stations, including the 6music festival and BBC Proms. I have a good working knowledge of broadcast systems and infrastructure as well as the nuances involved with broadcasting live music.
PODCAST MIXING AND EDITING
Mixing and editing podcasts and radio shows of all kinds. I have a year of experience mixing and editing complex radio shows and podcasts for BBC Radio 3. I am equipped for de-noising and audio restoration of speech and other audio.
MUSIC MIXING
Mixing of any genre of music, specialising in acoustically recorded music. I work mostly on Pyramix but I am also proficient using Pro Tools, SADiE, Cubase and Reaper.
MUSIC EDITING
Editing any genre of music, specialising in classical. Experienced editing in Pro Tools, SADiE and Pyramix (using the source-destination editing technique). I am also comfortable editing and mixing audio for video projects.
LOCATION RECORDING
Experienced with location recording, specialising in classical ensembles (see portfolio page for examples). I own the equipment to undertake small location recording projects but I am comfortable working on larger events.
